Can I use this address to form my LLC or open a bank account?
The address is a real commercial street address, which is accepted in far more places than a P.O. Box. Requirements still differ by state and by institution, so we document exactly what the address is rather than promising what every bank or agency will do with it.
Is this a P.O. Box or a PMB?
It is a street address in a commercial building. US mail rules require commercial mail agencies to identify recipient boxes, and we follow those rules; what you print on your letterhead is a street address.
Is a virtual address the same as a registered agent?
No. A registered agent is a separate legal role your LLC or corporation designates to receive service of process. Auteur offers registered agent service in all 50 states as a separate product, and the two roles stay separate: the agent address goes on state filings, your business address goes on everything else.
When do I get my exact address?
The day your city opens. Ordering is free, locks the founding price, and holds your place in line in any of our nine cities. Nothing is charged until you choose to start service.
Can I get Virtual Business Address as an individual?
Yes. It is for personal and business mail. You can be a sole proprietor, a freelancer with a DBA, or an LLC; the plan simply lets your mail be addressed to a business or trade name as well as to you and up to 6 individual names.
What happens to mail that arrives at the address?
That is the other half of the product: every piece is photographed on arrival, and every piece you open is scanned and summarized by Henry, our AI assistant, in English, Korean, or Spanish.
