What does reserving actually do?
It joins you to the Auteur launch list for the city you choose — Toronto or Vancouver. You lock in your spot, we notify you the day your address is ready, and reserved founders onboard before the public opening. There is no charge to reserve.
Is there a fee or commitment to reserve?
No. Reserving is free and there is no commitment. You are choosing your city and getting in line — you only start paying if and when you activate a plan after launch.
When will I get my address?
Auteur is pre-launch. Reserving now means you are first in line and we email you the moment your Toronto or Vancouver address is live. We share honest timing with reserved founders rather than a public countdown.
Can I use the address to incorporate and open a bank account?
Yes. It is a real commercial street address in Canada Post Unit/# format — not a PO Box or PMB — so it works as a registered office for federal, Ontario, or BC registration, for CRA correspondence and GST/HST, and on the big Canadian banks' applications.
Toronto or Vancouver — can I choose?
Yes. Auteur runs downtown Toronto and downtown Vancouver addresses. Pick the one that fits where you are registering; if you need both provinces, you can run them on a single account.
Do you verify identity like a US CMRA / Form 1583?
Canada has no federal Form 1583 or CMRA regime. Auteur runs its own ID check to keep the address trustworthy for banks and registries — a selling point, not a bureaucratic hurdle.
